The Dundas sci-fi and comic event

Dundas Shopping Centre, Middlesbrough Saturday 11 November 10 am – 4 pm Star Wars Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, a full-size Dalek and a top comic book illustrator are set to be the star attractions at the Dundas Sci Fi and Comic Event in Middlesbrough’s Dundas Shopping Centre on Saturday 11 November from 10am to 4pm. The 99th Garrison, the largest UK independent Star Wars based costume group, will be bringing Darth Vader, Storm Troopers and other characters from the hit film series to help raise money for the children’s charity Dreamflight by posing for photographs. There will be a full-size replica Dalek from TV’s Dr Who moving around the Indoor Market and famed comic book illustrator Jeff Anderson will be appearing at InterStellar Comics’ unit in the Indoor Market from 10am until 2pm.  Based in the North East, Jeff has worked on Transformers and Judge Dredd comic novels among many others in his 30 year career.  He is available for signings and sketches. On top of this, there will be more than 20 Science Fiction and Fantasy themed stalls selling a range of unique gifts, as well as a face painter for kids and adults.
